Lindblad was incorporated as a general contractor in 1947 and has been under current ownership since 1989. Lindblad regularly performs work as the general contractor either on a firm lump sum price, negotiated fee basis or partnering agreement.

Under a general construction agreement, Lindblad is responsible for all portions of the work giving the Owner a single contact for the construction of their project. Lindblad can perform the concrete, masonry, carpentry, metal studs, drywall and acoustical ceiling work with their own forces. The excavation, structural, mechanical, electrical and interior finish work would be performed by pre-qualified subcontractors.

Lindblad has built office buildings, medical centers, schools, churches, manufacturing facilities, warehouses and has performed remodeling work under this type of agreement.
