News in Safety

 

Lindblad's commitment to safety has been recognized by the Fox Valley Associated General Contractors Association (FVAGC) and Three Rivers Manufacturing Association (TRMA). Lindblad received the Gold Award at the April 29, 2010 Contractors Safety Awards dinner, which is awarded to TRMA members that acheive a 25% or greater reduction in OSHA recordable incident rate as compared to the previous three years.

 

Lindblad also received the Meritorious Performance Award from TRMA in recognition of working without a recordable injury for 2009.

 

Also being recognized for its safety performance, Lindblad received a safety award from FVAGC for 2009 for working between 50,000 and 250,000 man hours without a lost time accident.

 

Lindblad Ranked Among Top 100

 

Following our ranking of 113th for 2008, Lindblad Construction has been ranked 93rd by Midwest Construction magazine in their April-May 2010 issue for the Midwest "Top 100 Contractors of 2010". Companies were ranked by reported revenue earned in the region during the calender year of 2009. Contractors were included from the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Missouri.

 

 

Superintendent Receives Certification

 

Lindblad Construction's superintendent Joe Drozdek recently received certification as a Total Robotic Total Stationing instructor. Joe received the required one week training in Las Vegas over this past winter. Lindblad Construction owns and utilizes two Total Stationing units and values Joe's certification as a trainer.
